Omar Aziz proposes full-time schools and AI technology hub in Amazonas

Amazonas gubernatorial candidate Omar Aziz (PSD) has outlined key educational and technological proposals for his campaign. During a recent debate, Aziz emphasized the expansion of full-time schools in both the capital and the interior of the state. He framed this initiative as a dual-purpose strategy: enhancing student learning time and providing a secure environment for children while their parents are at work.

Additionally, Aziz announced plans to resume construction on the University City project in Iranduba. His goal is to transform the University of the State of Amazonas (UEA) into a regional hub for artificial intelligence and new technologies. Aziz stated that the project is financially viable and aims to prepare the youth for evolving job markets while attracting global technology companies to the Amazon region through sustainable development and technological innovation.
