Omar Aziz proposes paid internships and AI training for students
Omar Aziz has proposed a plan to facilitate access to the first job for students through state-funded paid internships and specialized training. During a meeting with students and alumni from the Federal University of Amazonas (Ufam) and the University of the State of Amazonas (UEA), Aziz outlined measures to bridge the gap between academic training and professional practice.
The proposal includes a program providing up to six months of paid internships, with costs covered by the state government. Additionally, the plan aims to expand courses in artificial intelligence to align student skills with the demands of the industry and commerce sectors. Aziz stated that the initiative is designed to address the common barrier of requiring prior experience for entry-level positions, allowing young professionals to demonstrate their capabilities in a real-world environment.
