This trend follows similar sales of political merchandise in the Pino Suárez area of Mexico City's historic center. Vendors appear to be capitalizing on political gatherings and events organized by the Morena party, where García Harfuch's image is sold alongside other political paraphernalia such as t-shirts, caps, and keychains related to the ‘Fourth Transformation’ movement.
