Omar Muñoz inaugurates sports facilities in Sanctorum

Omar Muñoz, the municipal president of Cuautlancingo, has inaugurated new sports facilities at the Secundaria Quetzalcóatl school in the Sanctorum auxiliary district. The project includes a 962-square-meter synthetic grass soccer field and a rehabilitated 312-square-meter volleyball court, complete with perimeter fencing and a drainage system.

The project represents a total investment of 1,781,159 pesos. Funding was provided through a joint effort: the Cuautlancingo City Council contributed 1,324,047 pesos, while the Community Works program provided 457,112 pesos. Muñoz emphasized the importance of sports and education for youth development and acknowledged the cooperation between local authorities, educators, and community committees.
