Omar Ramos appointed medical director of Hospital Dr. Manuel Amador Guerrero

Omar Ramos has been appointed as the new medical director of the Hospital Dr. Manuel Amador Guerrero in Colón, Panama. The facility is located in the Cristóbal Este district and serves a population of more than 300,000 residents in the Colón province.

Susana Betegón, the institutional director of the Caja de Seguro Social (CSS), administered the oath of office. Ramos's responsibilities will include coordinating medical services, supervising healthcare personnel, and implementing strategies to ensure timely and high-quality care for the local population.

The hospital was constructed by the Ministry of Health (Minsa) and subsequently handed over to the Caja de Seguro Social for administration. The facility features modern installations and advanced technology, providing services to both insured and uninsured patients.
