Ombudsman investigates Bandar Lampung Land Agency head

The Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia (Ombudsman RI) for Lampung Province has initiated an investigation into Ulin Nuha, the Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) in Bandar Lampung. The inquiry follows a report filed by Seno Aji, representing a principal identified by the initials DMP, regarding unresolved public service disputes.

The investigation focuses on the alleged prolonged delay in processing two land certificate (SHM) applications, specifically file numbers 20928/2024 and 24987/2024. The Ombudsman is seeking clarification on the legal basis for the BPN's policy to withhold these certificates under the guise of administrative security, as well as any obstacles preventing the completion of the service.

The Lampung Ombudsman office previously declared the report complete and eligible for follow-up. A formal request for explanation was issued to the Bandar Lampung Land Office to clarify the facts and the legal grounds for the current administrative actions.
