Ombudsman presents 2025 Annual Management Report to Vice Governor

Daniel Escobar Correa, the Provincial Ombudsman, officially presented the 2025 Annual Management Report to Vice Governor and President of the Legislature, Carlos Silva Neder. The delivery fulfills constitutional mandates and provincial law regarding institutional accountability.

The report covers activities conducted from January 1 to December 31, 2025. Key highlights include the implementation of alternative conflict resolution mechanisms to protect citizen rights, participation in the Association of Ombudsmen of the Argentine Republic, and work with the Provincial Committee for the Prevention of Torture.

Additionally, the document details judicial interventions, such as collective injunctions regarding disability pensions, and environmental monitoring efforts. These environmental actions include oversight of the Salí-Dulce basin and inspections of sugar-alcohol mills.
