Ombudsman RI Reviews Public Service in Jember Hospital and NTT

On 5 August 2026, Deputy Chairman of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia, Rahmadi Indra, visited the Regional Health Service (RSD) dr. Soebandi in Jember, East Java. The inspection covered registration, service rooms and treatment areas, and included discussions with health staff, patients and families. Rahmadi concluded that the health service was operating well and highlighted the importance of patient satisfaction and adherence to public‑service standards.

On 4 August 2026, Ombudsman RI representative Robert Na Endi Jaweng took part in an entry‑meeting in Kupang, NTT Province, to launch the 2026 Maladministration Assessment of Public Service. Together with the deputy governor, regional secretaries and agency heads, he stressed that quality public service is fundamental to state legitimacy, calling for transparency, standard enforcement and bureaucratic reform to prevent maladministration across provincial institutions.
