Ravenna to host OMC Med Energy 2027 conference

The OMC Med Energy 2027 conference, scheduled to take place at Pala De Andrè in Ravenna from April 13 to 15, has begun its roadmap following a recent press conference. The event focuses on the Mediterranean as a strategic energy platform and the role of ports as central hubs for supply security, industry, and the energy transition.

The theme for this edition is ‘Connecting the Med: Solutions to Navigate the Energy Complexity’, highlighting the interconnection between Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Key topics include LNG, biofuels, electrification, hydrogen, offshore renewables, and carbon capture and storage.

Organizers have already confirmed nearly 6,000 square meters of exhibition space, involving over 300 companies and 40 new exhibitors. The event is expected to feature the participation of energy ministers from Italy and North Africa.
