OMC Social Protection Foundation reports 2,414 benefits for medical professionals
The Foundation for the Social Protection of the OMC has reported its 2025 activity results, highlighting its commitment to supporting the medical profession and their families. The organization granted a total of 2,414 benefits and processed 961 new registrations during the period.
Assistance benefits were the primary area of action, with 1,513 active aids provided. These included 672 orphan benefits for minors under 21, 277 aids for orphans with disabilities, 155 scholarships for official studies, and 152 benefits for retired physicians. Additionally, the foundation provided 264 benefits related to dependency and disability, with home care services being the most requested.
The Social Care Service managed 333 interventions, primarily focused on social issues (90%), followed by psychological consultations and medical advice.
