Omega unveils new Speedmaster 38mm collection
Omega has unveiled a new collection of seven Speedmaster 38mm references, redesigning the line to align more closely with the aesthetic heritage of the iconic Moonwatch.
A primary design shift includes replacing the previous oval sub-dials with rounded ones and reducing dial text for a cleaner, more legible appearance. The collection also reintroduces a thicker bezel profile and the historical ‘dot over 90’ detail. All new models feature a five-link bracelet inspired by the classic Moonwatch style.
The lineup is categorized into three distinct design directions: stainless steel models, bicolor versions combining steel with 18K Moonshine™ or Sedna™ Gold, and high-luxury editions featuring bezels set with 52 diamonds (1.53 carats total).
Technical specifications include the use of two automatic movements: the Calibre 3330, which includes a date function and powers six of the models, and the Calibre 3332, used for the no-date black dial version to maintain a purist Moonwatch aesthetic. The watches feature 100 meters of water resistance and a 38mm case diameter.
