Omega Speedmaster Alaska Project featured on Bares für Rares
A rare Omega Speedmaster Alaska Project was presented on the television program Bares für Rares. The timepiece, which was originally purchased by Ingrun Meier from a dealer in Mülheim an der Ruhr in 2008 for under 5,000 euros, is a limited edition model with only 1,970 examples produced.
The watch was offered as a full set, including its original aluminum protective case designed to shield the movement from temperature fluctuations, and a new stainless steel bracelet. Expert Sven Deutschmanek described the item as a very good investment.
