Omega wins the 34th Asunción-Corrientes regatta

The 34th edition of the historic Asunción-Corrientes regatta, organized by the Yacht Club Corrientes, has concluded. The sailboat Omega, crewed by Eduardo Huwell, Alberto “Bachi” Huwell, and Lucas Viera, secured the overall victory and the Camba Donnet Cup after a closely contested race.

Despite forecasts of low wind, the competition successfully completed its 420 km course across five stages. While Omega took the general title, Taquicardia performed strongly by winning the first three races and securing first place in Series A. The sailboat Hatikva also showed significant performance, winning the final two races of the event.

Other category winners included Arcos, helmed by Andrés de la Fuente, which took first place in Series C, and Omega, which also won Series B ahead of Clericó.
