Omenaa Mensah opens Sport and Art Campus in Tema, Ghana

Philanthropist and entrepreneur Omenaa Mensah has officially opened the Omenaa Sport and Art Campus in Tema, Ghana. The multidisciplinary facility is designed to support local youth, particularly vulnerable children from the neighboring Kids Haven School who have experienced violence, neglect, or forced labor.

The campus integrates sports, education, healthcare, and contemporary art through three primary areas: a Gym Center, a Community Center, and an Art Residence. The Community Center features a medical clinic called Doctors Rooms, which will provide free pediatric care and diagnostics to children from Kids Haven and the wider community, supported by the Medical University of Warsaw. Other facilities include a cafe, a creative lab, sports fields, and a sculpture garden.

Partnering in the initiative is Xtreme Brands, which is assisting with the equipment of motor preparation spaces for children at the facility. The project aims to provide talent development programs and international creative residencies to foster opportunities for future generations.
