Omerta drama series trailer and cast revealed

The trailer and cast for the new Dutch-Flemish drama series ‘Omerta’ have been revealed. The eight-part series is set to premiere on CANAL+ and Streamz in mid-November.

The story follows the wealthy Van Loo family, members of the elite in Brasschaat, who are deeply involved in the world of equestrian sports. The plot centers on a fatal boat accident in Spain that occurred two years prior, which forced the family's stepson to take the blame to protect their reputation. The narrative explores themes of power, loyalty, and manipulation as the stepson returns, driven by revenge, to challenge the family's carefully maintained image.

Created by Tom Goris and co-directed by Raf Reyntjens, the production is a collaboration between Dingie (part of STUDIOCANAL), CANAL+, and Streamz. The cast features a mix of Dutch and Flemish actors, including Benja Bruijning, Aiko Beemsterboer, Ruth Becquart, and Emilie De Roo.
