Omi Chanpon-tei holds vegetable increase campaign

Omi Chanpon-tei is hosting a “Vegetable Increase Campaign” on September 6 and 7, 2026. During this two-day event, customers can upgrade eligible chanpon dishes to a large vegetable portion for free.

The campaign coincides with “Omi Chanpon Day” on September 7, a commemorative date established by Dream Foods Co., Ltd. The date was chosen because it falls exactly one week after “Vegetable Day” (August 31), making it a fitting day to celebrate the vegetable-rich characteristics of Omi chanpon.

Omi Chanpon-tei, which originated in Hikone, Shiga Prefecture, operates 56 locations across Japan and Taiwan. The signature dish features a golden Japanese-style broth made from bonito and kelp served with abundant vegetables.
