Omni HR's MCP integration lets AI assistants access live HR data

On July 20, Omni HR announced the launch of its native MCP integration from its Singapore headquarters. The integration enables popular AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor to read and act on live HR data stored in Omni's unified platform, while preserving each user's existing permissions. No new access rights are granted and no HR data is stored at the connector level.

The feature builds on Omni's AI agent Mino, released in June 2026, and allows users to request actions in plain language – for example, checking who is on leave, generating department headcounts, or updating employee profiles – directly through the AI tools they already use. A recent "State of AI in HR" report by Omni found that only 21 % of HR leaders in Singapore and the Philippines trust AI outputs without manual review, a gap the company attributes to fragmented data. By centralising HR information, the MCP integration aims to improve confidence in AI‑driven decisions.

The integration is now available in early access for Omni HR customers. "Mino brought AI into Omni. The MCP integration brings Omni into the AI tools your teams are already using every day," said Brian Ip, CEO of Omni HR.
