Omnicom Group posts 7.2% Q2 revenue rise and clinches global media leadership

Omnicom Group reported core revenue of $6.0 billion for Q2 2026, a 7.2% year‑on‑year increase driven by 6.1% organic growth and favorable foreign‑exchange effects. The Asia‑Pacific region contributed $537.6 million, representing 9% of core operations. Integrated Media generated $3.1 billion, or 52.5% of core revenue, while adjusted EBITA margin expanded to 17.8% from 15.9% the prior year. Adjusted diluted earnings per share rose 29.3% to $2.65. The quarter also saw a $200 million share repurchase under the company’s $5 billion buy‑back programme. The financial performance reflects cost‑reduction synergies from the November 2025 completion of the Interpublic Group (IPG) acquisition. Separately, Omnicom Media was named the world’s largest media‑management network, posting $107.3 billion in billings and a 30.1% share of the global market. Mark Anthony Brands International also appointed Omnicom Media as its global agency of record, covering the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.
