Omnissa appoints Amit Singh as CEO

Omnissa has appointed Amit Singh as its new CEO, effective immediately. Singh succeeds Shankar Iyer, who stepped down to pursue other opportunities.

Singh brings over 35 years of enterprise technology experience to the role, having previously served as President of Palo Alto Networks and as a co-founder and President of Google Cloud. His leadership comes as Omnissa shifts its focus toward the era of ‘agentic endpoints,’ where AI agents operate directly across enterprise devices such as laptops, smartphones, and virtual desktops.

Omnissa, a digital workspace and endpoint management company, serves more than 15,000 enterprise customers. The company aims to provide tools that allow organizations to manage and secure AI agents as they gain the ability to use employee credentials, permissions, and corporate data. The company recently introduced a suite of AI-first products designed to increase visibility and control within increasingly autonomous workplace systems.
