OMODA & JAECOO Unveil OMODA 7 SUV in Croatia

OMODA & JAECOO introduced the OMODA 7, a technologically advanced SUV, at a launch event in Croatia. The vehicle uses a Super Hybrid System that combines a 1.5 L turbo‑charged gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering 279 hp, 365 Nm of torque and accelerating from 0‑100 km/h in 8.4 seconds. It offers an eight‑year warranty, a starting price of €33,990, and an electric range of up to 90 km from an 18.3 kWh battery.

Safety features include five‑star Euro NCAP rating, eight airbags, more than 20 crash sensors and 19 ADAS functions such as adaptive cruise control, traffic‑jam assist, lane‑keeping, blind‑spot detection and autonomous emergency braking. A 540° panoramic camera system and Automatic/Remote Parking Assist enable hands‑free parking. The body is built from 72.1 % high‑strength steel with reinforced sections up to 1500 MPa.

The launch was paired with a fashion collaboration: Croatian designer Đurđica Vorkapić of Hippy Garden created the “The One” capsule collection for humanoid robots AiMOGA, first displayed on the robot Mornine. OMODA & JAECOO also highlighted its broader AI and robotics strategy, citing over one million vehicles sold in three years and projects such as the four‑legged Argos robot and AI‑driven customer‑service bots.

The event positions OMODA 7 as a flagship model that blends mobility, advanced driver assistance, and creative cross‑industry partnerships.
