Omoda and Jaecoo launch new plug‑in hybrid models in Lithuania
Lithuania sees the market debut of two plug‑in hybrid vehicles from the newly introduced brands Omoda and Jaecoo. The flagship Omoda 9 Super Hybrid, priced from €49,990, features a 1.5 L turbo‑gasoline engine, three electric motors, 35 kWh battery, 537 hp, 650 Nm torque, all‑wheel drive, an electric range of up to 145 km and a total range of about 1,100 km. The Jaecoo 7 Super Hybrid SUV starts at €32,990, offers an electric range of up to 91 km, a total range of roughly 1,200 km and emphasizes low fuel consumption.
Both cars come equipped with extensive standard equipment, including leather seats with massage, heating and ventilation functions, a 540° camera system, panoramic roof and adaptive suspension. They have earned Euro NCAP safety ratings and are covered by a 7‑year or 150,000 km manufacturer warranty, plus a 2‑year unlimited‑mileage guarantee.
The brands will expand their line‑up later in 2024 with the Omoda 5 compact SUV (from €24,990) and subsequent models Omoda 4, Omoda 7 and Omoda 2 planned through 2027. Jaecoo will add gasoline, fully electric and hybrid variants such as Jaecoo 5, Jaecoo 8 and future versions of Jaecoo 7. After‑sales service will be provided in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai and Panevėžys.
