Omoda expands 7 SHS SUV lineup with new Premium+ trim
Omoda, a brand under the Chery Group, is expanding its SUV lineup in the Spanish market with updates to the Omoda 7 SHS plug-in hybrid. The manufacturer has introduced a new Premium+ trim level, which builds upon the existing Premium version by adding enhanced technology and comfort features.
The Premium+ trim includes upgraded parking assistance systems, increasing the sensor count from eight to twelve. This allows for automatic parking maneuvers and remote parking capabilities, where the vehicle can be controlled from outside the car. While the exterior design and mechanical specifications remain unchanged, the new trim focuses on driver convenience and advanced assistance.
Additionally, Omoda is offering promotional pricing on the Omoda 7 SHS Premium trim, making the high-end equipment available at the price point typically reserved for the base Pure model. The vehicle features 279 CV, a 1.5-liter turbo engine, and an electric range of approximately 92 kilometers. It competes in the mid-size SUV segment against models such as the Toyota RAV4 and Peugeot 3008.
