Omoda O4 electric crossover set for Indonesia launch

Omoda & Jaecoo Indonesia is preparing to launch the Omoda O4, an electric crossover positioned as ‘The First AI Car for Everyone’. The vehicle is expected to enter the Indonesian market in the fourth quarter of 2026, with an estimated price in the range of Rp400 million.

The Omoda O4 features a single electric motor producing 160 kW of power and 275 Nm of torque. It boasts a claimed driving range of up to 611 km based on the CLTC standard. The design follows a ‘Cyber Mecha’ concept with a drag coefficient of 0.292 Cd to enhance aerodynamic efficiency.

Technological integration is centered around the ‘Hacking Reality’ concept, which includes three pillars: Cyber Mecha for design, Cyber Pilot for driving assistance featuring 18 ADAS functions and a 540-degree camera, and Cyber Verse for in-cabin entertainment, which includes a 13.2-inch touchscreen. Jim Ma, Business Unit Director of Omoda & Jaecoo Indonesia, stated the vehicle aims to provide value and technology previously uncommon in the crossover EV segment.
