Omonia defeats Panaitolikos 2-1 in summer friendly

Cypriot club Omonia won 2-1 against Greek side Panaitolikos in the first pre‑season friendly of the summer preparations. Panaitolikos took the lead in the 19th minute when Alexits headed in from a cross by Opoku. Omonia equalised and then secured the victory through two goals by forward Kakoullis, who scored in the 54th and 58th minutes, exploiting defensive errors. The match featured several squad rotations, with Panaitolikos coached by Giannis Anastasios giving playing time to younger players.
