Cypriot club Omonia is in the final stage of preparing for its upcoming European matches, with the first leg scheduled for 22 July. Coach Henrik Berg is using a Thursday friendly against Panaitolikos as a final rehearsal, while also monitoring the Sutjeska‑Kairat play‑off in Montenegro to gather intelligence on a potential opponent.
The club is also active in the transfer market, eyeing a new striker, goalkeeper, central defender and a versatile midfielder to reinforce the squad. Omonia plans to file its UEFA player list soon, with the option to make up to two changes before the first qualifying game. Prospects such as Muamer Tanković and Loïc Négo are expected to feature, and the team aims to enter the second qualifying round fully prepared.
