Omonia prepares for Europa League clash against Celje in Slovenia

Omonia has traveled to Slovenia to face Celje in the second matchday of the Europa League League Phase. Following a successful opening victory against Celta Vigo, the team aims to secure another win to strengthen their prospects for qualifying for the play-offs.

Coach Henning Berg is managing a demanding schedule and is expected to make several changes to the starting lineup to manage player fatigue. Key considerations include the fitness of midfielder Brouwers, who is recovering from an ankle injury, and the availability of Fabiano, who is expected to return to goal following Kaminski's involvement in domestic league matches.

Other squad management details note that Akinola is sidelined due to a minor muscle injury and is ineligible for European competition, as is the young player Viktoros. The team is focused on maintaining concentration and discipline to secure a result against a competitive opponent.
