Omonoia 29th May defeats Krasava ENY 3-0 in league opener

Omonoia 29th May secured a dominant 3-0 victory against Krasava ENY in their league season opener at Ammochostos Stadium.

Steve Ambri was the standout performer, scoring two goals. His first goal in the 28th minute was initially not awarded but was subsequently confirmed by VAR after the ball struck the post and the ground. Ambri added his second goal in the 59th minute with a close-range finish.

Hantakias extended the lead to 2-0 in the 50th minute with a header following a corner from Garcia. Despite a late attempt by Krasava ENY's Georgiou that struck the post in the 74th minute, Omonoia 29th May maintained control to claim a convincing win.
