Omonoia faces AEL in Cyprus League match

Omonoia is set to host AEL in the 8th round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan at the GSP Stadium. Following a recent loss to AEK and a draw against Olympiakos, Omonoia seeks a victory to maintain its standing and boost team morale ahead of its upcoming European fixture against Naamegdijk.

AEL enters the match looking to break a difficult trend against the Nicosia-based club. In their last nine encounters, Omonoia has secured eight wins and one draw. AEL's last league victory against Omonoia occurred in October 2022, achieved by Davor Zdravkovski, who remains the club's most capped player.

Regarding squad availability, Omonoia will be without the injured Negko-Christou, though Coulibaly and Akintola have been included in the squad. AEL will be missing Densvil, who is expected to be sidelined for a month due to a second-degree muscle tear.
