Omroep HW expands broadcasting reach to DAB+

Omroep HW has expanded its reach by becoming available via DAB+ on channel 6B, in addition to its existing FM 96.0 frequency.

The local broadcaster's upcoming program, Café Hoeksche Waard, will feature discussions on increasing local biodiversity. Joost Kievit will discuss efforts by Hoekschewaards Landschap and Hoeksche Waard Zoemtzijn to encourage residents to create nature-friendly gardens.

The broadcast will also cover events such as Piershil Open Air, activities at the Tiengemeten nature island—including birdwatching and excursions to see beavers—and the upcoming Borrel aan de Binnenmaas.
