Omron Healthcare announces new medical device initiatives and conference sponsorship

Omron Healthcare Co., Ltd. has announced several initiatives focused on preventive medicine and rapid health monitoring. The company will sponsor the 67th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Ningen Dock and Preventive Medicine in Kumamoto, scheduled for September 4–5, 2026. During the event, Omron will host a sponsored seminar regarding the importance of early detection of asymptomatic atrial fibrillation using long-term Holter ECG analysis services, known as Heartnote®.

In addition to its participation in the medical conference, Omron Healthcare is launching the MC-H500 predictive thermometer on September 1, 2026. Utilizing proprietary analysis and calculation technology, the device can predict and display a temperature reading in approximately 10 seconds. The thermometer features a flat sensing tip for stable placement in the armpit and uses both sound and light signals to notify users when measurement is complete.
