OMSAN Lojistik partners with Almatis for European alumina distribution

OMSAN Lojistik has entered into a new partnership with Almatis to manage the distribution of specialty alumina across Europe. Under this agreement, OMSAN will transport products from Almatis's production facilities in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and Ludwigshafen, Germany, to delivery points in 12 different European countries.

The project is expected to involve approximately 600 shipments per year, with each shipment carrying an average of 25 tons of specialty alumina. Dr. Diğdem Liga, CCO of OMSAN Lojistik, stated that the collaboration is a key part of the company's growth strategy in Europe, focusing on providing customized solutions and sustainable value rather than just geographic expansion.

Christian Ammermann, Deputy General Manager of Supply Chain at Almatis, noted that the partnership aims to increase the efficiency of their European distribution operations, emphasizing the importance of secure and timely delivery.
