ONASUR-E outlines preparations for Guinea elections

The National Autonomous Observatory for the Supervision of Referendums and Elections (ONASUR-E) has issued three major recommendations to prepare for the upcoming regional and senatorial elections in Guinea. The elections are scheduled for November 29 and December 20, 2026.

During a plenary session in Conakry presided over by Dr. Sékou Goureissy Condé, the supervisory body identified priority actions to strengthen electoral oversight. These include organizing a training workshop for advisors to consolidate technical and operational skills, holding a technical meeting with the General Directorate of Elections (DGE) to improve coordination, and developing an operational action plan to serve as a framework for preparatory activities and supervision missions.
