ONCE group reaches 80,000 staff, adds 7,179 jobs in Catalonia and 3,089 in Castilla‑La Mancha

The Grupo Social ONCE closed its 2025 fiscal year with a total workforce of 80,000 employees, making it the third‑largest employer in Spain. In Catalonia the group employed 7,179 people across ONCE, the Fundación ONCE and the Ilunion business unit, supported by an €82 million social‑investment programme and the creation of 266 net new positions. In Castilla‑La Mancha the staff count stood at 3,089.

People with disability represent 47,000 of the total workforce (59 %), while 33,000 employees do not have a disability. Women account for 36,000 staff members (45 %). During 2025 ONCE generated 2,642 net jobs, posting an employment growth rate of 3.4 %—well above the national average of 2.7 %.

Revenue also hit record levels: lottery sales rose 3.4 % to €2.927 billion, of which €1.661 billion was returned directly as prizes; Ilunion’s turnover increased 9.6 % to €1.443 billion; and the Fundación ONCE raised €154.5 million for disability‑focused projects. The group’s employment‑inclusion activities, led by Inserta Empleo, created 13,204 jobs for people with disability in external companies in 2025, bringing the ten‑year total to 111,624 positions.

Delegates highlighted the achievement, saying, “We have reached a milestone that seemed unimaginable a few years ago: 80,000 people working in equality, equity, inclusion and diversity, with dignified and sustainable jobs.”
