Once Human launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S

NetEase Games has officially released the supernatural open-world multiplayer survival game ‘Once Human’ on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The console versions feature technical enhancements such as 4K resolution at 60 FPS in quality mode and up to 120 FPS in performance mode.

Key features for the console launch include full cross-play and cross-progression, allowing players to synchronize data, buildings, and progress seamlessly between PC, console, and mobile platforms. The PlayStation 5 version utilizes DualSense wireless controller features, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, to increase immersion.

Additionally, a major expansion titled ‘Ocean Chapter: Forbidden Island’ was announced, which is scheduled for release across all platforms in October. This update will introduce maritime survival elements, including deep-sea exploration and the ability to build mobile sea bases known as ‘Sea Fortresses’.
