Once Human launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S

NetEase Games and Starry Studio have released the free-to-play survival title Once Human on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Originally released on PC in 2024, the post-apocalyptic RPG features cooperative gameplay involving base building, resource collection, and combat in a massive 256 km² world.

On PlayStation 5, the game utilizes DualSense controller features such as adaptive triggers to enhance immersion. For Xbox players, the launch includes exclusive perks for Xbox Game Pass members, including avatar items and Battle Pass XP cards. The game supports cross-play and cross-progression, allowing PC and mobile players to play alongside console users.

Alongside the console launch, developers announced the Isles of Abyss, the game's largest content expansion to date. Scheduled for release in October across all platforms, the update will introduce new gameplay mechanics involving islands, the ocean surface, and the deep sea.
