Oncología & Especialidades launches cancer awareness campaign

Oncología & Especialidades has launched its annual campaign, “Un chequeo puede cambiarlo todo” (A checkup can change everything), in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The initiative aims to promote early detection and medical prevention.

For the first time, the campaign integrates awareness for breast cancer in October and prostate cancer in November under the theme “Two months. Two causes. One same purpose.” The program includes educational talks, medical testimonials, and orientation sessions to encourage patients to seek timely evaluations. The institution also highlighted its multidisciplinary care model and its role as a pioneer in the Caribbean for the EBUS procedure.
