Onda hosts URBACT session to share European urban projects

The municipality of Onda hosted a URBACT program session to facilitate the exchange of successful urban projects among Spanish municipalities. Representatives from Onda, Arteixo, Bétera, Pamplona, Silla, Vendrell, and Vilanova i la Geltrú met to share experiences and address common challenges.

Onda is currently involved in two major European initiatives. Through the CivicHeritage project, which Onda leads, the municipality shares its model for repurposing the La Campaneta former ceramics factory into a cultural and social space. Additionally, the town participates in the Olympics4All project, which adapts a Portuguese initiative aimed at promoting physical activity and active aging among the elderly.
