Onda reinforces security for 2026 Fira festival
The City Council of Onda has finalized a special security plan for the 2026 Fira d'Onda, an event expected to attract more than 200,000 people. The operation will mobilize 57 local police officers, with increased presence during high-traffic periods such as bull runs, concerts, and nighttime activities.
The security strategy was coordinated during a Local Security Board meeting involving the Mayor of Onda, Carmina Ballester, the Government Sub-delegate in Castellón, Antonia García Valls, and representatives from the Civil Guard and National Police. The plan aims to ensure a coordinated response to potential incidents and manage the large crowds expected during the festivities.
