Ondas Holdings stock falls despite $270 million in new orders
Ondas Holdings has reported significant order growth, securing more than $165 million in new orders between late August and October 1. Since June 30, total orders have exceeded $270 million, providing revenue visibility into 2027. The company is also making progress with programs such as ULTRA, a candidate for a U.S. Department of War program-of-record, and the IonStrike system.
Despite these contract wins, the company's stock has faced downward pressure, losing approximately 22 percent since the beginning of the year. Recent market weakness was exacerbated by a broader decline in technology stocks on the Nasdaq.
Investors have expressed skepticism regarding the company's new AI initiatives, specifically the formation of Regna AI in partnership with Palantir Technologies. While Ondas owns Regna AI and will serve as its first customer using Palantir's infrastructure, the lack of disclosed contract terms, external customers, or specific revenue commitments has led to concerns regarding the monetization and execution of these projects.
