One-Day Cup: Notts Outlaws and Somerset secure key victories

In the One-Day Cup, the Notts Outlaws secured a six-wicket victory over the Northants Steelbacks at Queen’s Park, Chesterfield. After the Steelbacks posted 259-8, Freddie McCann scored 91 to lead the Outlaws to 261-4.

Somerset achieved a significant 188-run win over Surrey at Taunton. A second-wicket partnership of 152 between Lammonby (114) and Goldsworthy (83) helped Somerset reach 368-9, while Surrey was bowled out for 180.

Leicestershire extended their lead at the top of the table with a three-wicket win against Warwickshire. Despite falling to 43-4, the Foxes reached 222-7, aided by Nick Kelly's 86. Meanwhile, Lancashire maintained their qualification hopes by defeating Gloucestershire by four wickets at Old Trafford.
