One More Level, the developer behind Ghostrunner, is releasing Valor Mortis, a first-person action game set during the Napoleonic era. Published by Lyrical Games, the title blends historical combat with supernatural horror and body horror elements.

Players take on the role of William Dowsett, a soldier of Napoleon’s Grande Armée who returns from death to find Europe devastated by a mysterious plague. This corruption grants the protagonist supernatural abilities that are central to gameplay and survival.
