One More Level releases first update for Valor Mortis

Developer One More Level has released the first title update, version 1.004, for its soulslike action game, Valor Mortis. The update, released on October 16 across all platforms, includes technical fixes and quality-of-life improvements.

Technical adjustments address graphical issues on Xbox and resolve common crashes across various platforms. For PC players, the update introduces automated GPU driver detection to help improve performance and stability.

The patch also resolves critical progression blockers, specifically fixing an issue in Chapter 4 where progress failed to save after boss sequences and addressing similar issues in Chapter 12.

Valor Mortis is set in an alternative 19th-century Europe, following a soldier named William through a continent corrupted by a mysterious plague. The gameplay combines soulslike combat with platforming mechanics, including wall-running and grappling hooks.
