One More Level reports Valor Mortis has recouped development costs
One More Level CEO Szymon Bryła announced that the studio's new title, ‘Valor Mortis’, has already recouped its production, sales, and marketing costs. The game has been played by hundreds of thousands of people across all platforms, with significant interest noted on the Game Pass service.
Despite the project reaching profitability, the company's stock price has faced downward pressure, trading around 1.5 PLN. Analysts suggest this may be due to a discrepancy between high pre-release wishlist numbers and actual concurrent player counts on Steam.
Looking forward, the studio plans to release a story-driven DLC within the next 12 months. The company is also working on hotfixes and new content to maintain long-term sales. While initial revenues will be recognized in 2026 financial results due to co-publishing agreements with Lyrical Games, cash inflows are expected by early next year.
