ONE Musicfest pauses 2026 edition, aims for revamped return in 2027

Atlanta’s ONE Musicfest, the Southeast’s largest urban progressive music festival, announced that it will not be held in 2026. Founder Jason L. Carter shared the decision on July 31, saying the break will allow organizers to redesign the event and deliver a “next‑iteration” experience for 2027.

The festival, which began in 2010 with about 1,500 attendees, has grown to attract more than 100,000 music lovers each year at Piedmont Park. Performers in recent editions have included Future, Mary J. Blige, Kehlani and the Dungeon Family. The hiatus follows a brief venue shift in 2024 and mirrors a previous pause by Atlanta’s Music Midtown, though the reasons differ.

Organizers emphasized that the pause is driven by a commitment to innovation rather than financial or safety concerns, and they thanked fans, artists and the community for their support.
