One Nation lodges three years of overdue financial documents

The Queensland division of Pauline Hanson’s One Nation has filed three years of overdue audited financial statements following warnings from the Office of Fair Trading. The documents cover the periods from 2022-23 to 2024-25, fulfilling requirements under the Associations Incorporation Act 1981.

The regulator had previously threatened enforcement action, which could have included fines for party leadership—including Pauline Hanson, Senator Sean Bell, and treasurer Alex Jones—or the cancellation of the party’s legal registration in Queensland. The Office of Fair Trading stated that while the documents have been lodged, any future failure to meet annual return deadlines may result in further enforcement action.

A spokesperson for One Nation stated that the party has met all its obligations regarding the Queensland Office of Fair Trading.
