One Nation Victorian candidates face scrutiny over residency and business ties
An investigation by The Age into One Nation’s first group of candidates for the upcoming Victorian state election has revealed several controversies regarding their business and property dealings.
One Nation state leader Warren Pickering is reportedly using an address located outside the Pakenham electorate in which he is running. Additionally, another candidate appears to be residing in a home owned by their parents.
Upper house candidate Natalie Adams is the daughter of Sebastian Canzoneri, a businessman convicted of fraud in the late 1990s. Records indicate that Adams has previously served as a director for companies shared with her father, including Flagstaff Pty Ltd and Ruldina Investment Pty Ltd. Furthermore, Adams’ husband reportedly owes a $1.3 million debt to the tax office.
