One Piece franchise announces new anime episodes and card game expansion

The One Piece franchise continues to expand through new anime episodes and card game updates. The anime series is currently airing the Elbaf Arc, with episode 1175 scheduled for release on August 23, 2026, via Crunchyroll, followed by episode 1176 on August 30, 2026. Toei Animation has transitioned to a seasonal production model, limiting output to approximately 26 episodes per year to improve pacing and quality.

In the One Piece Card Game, the upcoming 18th expansion, titled ‘THE DOMINANCE OF GOD’, is set for a global release in November 2026. This set will feature special alternative art cards illustrated by legendary artist Yoshitaka Amano, known for his work on the Final Fantasy series. The expansion will focus on the Water 7 saga and the appearance of the Holy Knights.
