One Piece episode 1166 debuts on Crunchyroll as creator promises a more intense upcoming arc
The 1,166th episode of the anime One Piece premieres on Crunchyroll on Sunday, June 14, 2026. In Japan it airs at night, with the simulcast available at 8:00 a.m. PT and adjusted to local times across Latin America – for example 10:00 a.m. in Mexico and Central America, 11:00 a.m. in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, and noon in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Crunchyroll holds the streaming rights for the region, while newer episodes also appear on Netflix after a short delay.
Creator Eiichiro Oda, speaking about the series' current Elbaph arc, said the next storyline will be "very intense" and that the final destination, Laugh Tale, draws nearer. He hinted at new powerful foes – the Knights of God – and a secret character who will appear alongside the "flame‑marked man". Fans can watch the series on Crunchyroll or Netflix, and the Spanish‑language manga is available via Manga Plus.
