One Piece Film: Strong World re-released in Taiwan

The One Piece animated film, ‘One Piece Film: Strong World’, is being re-released in Taiwan. This production marks the first theatrical film where the original creator, Eiichiro Oda, served as general supervisor, personally overseeing the script and hand-drawn sketches.

The film, which previously won Best Animation at the 34th Japan Academy Film Prize, follows the Straw Hat Pirates as they face the legendary pirate Shiki (Golden Lion), a former rival of Gol D. Roger. The antagonist is voiced by award-winning actor Naoto Takenaka.

Musical contributions include the theme song ‘fanfare’ performed by the Japanese band Mr. Children. Special screenings in Taiwan offer various collector items, such as A3 posters, character stands, and metal badges.
