One Piece manga enters hiatus with chapter 1197 set for November release

The One Piece manga is entering a scheduled hiatus following the release of chapter 1196. Due to a break by author Eiichiro Oda to preserve his health, the next installment, chapter 1197, is scheduled for official release on November 1 via the Manga Plus platform.

Preliminary spoilers for chapter 1197 are expected to emerge between October 26 and October 27. Leaked images may follow around October 28 or 29, with unofficial scanlations potentially appearing by October 30.

Recent plot developments in chapter 1196 focused on a psychological confrontation involving Sanji, featuring flashbacks to the Kamabakka Kingdom and themes of self-love. The manga typically alternates between magazine-mandated breaks and author-requested rest periods.
